By all means, Morris, please share with us the Universal Expiration Date For Good Music, after which it's all "spoilt" and should be discarded immediately lest it inadvertently cause enjoyment in the ears of unsuspecting listeners. I would say you can stop collecting most artists work when they ... a) make crap novelty records that get right up your nose b) release a greatest hits album c) appear on MTV Unplugged d) pay for a Paul Oakenfold remix e) waffle on about oasis are more radical than techno f) pretend they were in the shoom club in 86 when they used to like the wedding present g) describe themselves as the greatest at anything h) rerelease their hit from last year with a dex & jonesy respray i) fail to develop their work year after year despite massive resources j) go country k) insert personal bugbear here i just think it would be nice to read about some new music i mean when the pr*ds or ch*ms make a record every fuckin press officer in the western hemisphere will be assigned to plug it, it's not as if we 're going to miss out whereas many of the best records comin out dont get any press at all let alone adverts, billboards, videos, MTV and the full monty mixmaster morris ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------ A SITE FOR SORE EARS - The Mixmaster Morris Homepage http://www.southern.com/MMM/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- -----------

Morris, which of these did Orbital do? C. -- C.Hilker (cspot@hyperreal.com) "He was mesmerized by the light-pictures, and the music sent him right into dreamland"

Huh. I generally stop collecting an artist's work when I stop enjoying it. Guess I must be missing the point. -- ::: Lazlo (lazlo@swcp.com; http://www.swcp.com/lazlo) ::: Internet Music Wantlists: http://www.swcp.com/lazlo/Wantlists
