Orbital was the top in the IDM poll. This is a least common denominator. Most people on this list have probably purchased it. Not everyone is into the Rephlex shtuff or the Drum 'n Bass. I personally don't have access to SKAM releases. Not everyone has access to import shtuff. Everyone does have access to the Orbital albumn. Everyone wants to put their opinion in the IDM poll. It's a least common denominator, and it's a damn fine albumn. Comments are unwelcome. Must we have this popularization of electronica discourse yet again? Some people think that popularization is going to be bad, others don't. It's going to happen. This subject is religion at this stage in the game. Comments are also unwelcome. May we please kill it. This leads to the state of idm list. It seems that every few monthes we get these same threads: Popularization of Electronica Women and IDM Is Jungle a rascist term State of the idm list etc. It seems that during these periods that the stores are strangely barren of new releases. There weren't many new releases around the Holiday season. Hopefully will get a blizzard new releases soon and these threads will die away, as we discuss the music. As always, there is absolutely no need to respond to this. Love, Brian (*) Fresh and Full of Life Brian Tang NYC http://silly.com/~tang
