I was listening to some records the other day and found some good stuff
but don't know anything about the artists. One record has 6k written on
it and the other record says Analog Idolatry. Does anyone know about
these two artists (?) and if they have other releases out.
I can tell you that the 6k was moody and deep. Kind of ambient, but more
of a moody Gescom.
Analog Idolatry was more dance floor techno material. Like the name says,
it's heavy on the analog side.
Would also like to cast my vote on the Jega 12" release. Shines a new
light on the deck. Also picked up Stereolab's "Metronomic Underground"
12" with the Wagon Christ mixing. It's ok... kind of minimal for
Stereolab. I see that the Autechre "Keynell" 12" won't be leaving my
turntable for a couple of weeks.
