Here's the first repost of the final ballot, with the mortifying typo in the Artists section fixed. Response has been good so far - I've been getting quite a few ballots from people who didn't vote in the first phase, which is great! - Welcome to the official 1996 IDM Poll, part two. This is the final phase of voting. I'll take votes for 10 days, so your ballots are due by noon Pacific time on the 31st. If you voted in the first phase, your votes do not carry over into this phase (there is one exception, he knows who he is). Please don't repost this to the list; I'll be reposting the ballot with reminders once or twice. As promised, the nominees in each category are based on the results of the first phase of the poll. Categories with more than five nominees had ties after the first phase. When voting, delete the nominees you aren't voting for. If you don't wish to vote in a category, delete everything but the "No Vote" line. Unlike the nominations phase, each voter gets ONE vote in every category. If you leave more than one nominee on your ballot in a category, I'll interpret that as a "No Vote" in that category. I'll be on holiday from the 24th until the 28th. I won't be checking mail while I'm away. This year's poll has a sponsor. Modern Music (www.modernmusic.com) will be offering a $50 gift certificate in a random drawing of all ballots I receive. If you vote in both phases, you double your chances of winning! The final ballot for nominations follows. Please send it to cspot@hyperreal.com.
