Not actually idm, but certainly a major influence: the second Synergy cd "Sequencer" has been re-released. It is an incredible analog extravaganza, there's nothing like it. Filter sweeps, multi-octave sawtooth waves, phase shifting, the works. For me personally, Synergy (Larry Fast) was a major influence along with Kraftwerk and Tangerine Dream in the early days of melodic electronic music (which feels like eons ago...) Having this reissued is very exciting for me. He's reissuing the whole catalog. For me personally Synergy is boring and tedious. If you want cheesy analog sounds buy any old rekkid with "Moog" in the title. It wasn't until Larry Fast hooked up with Gabriel (Peter) that he did anything I could listen to. Che
