I have no problem putting T-power in the top 5 of my fav jungle heads out there! Mutant Jazz - a classic! The T.Power/M.K. Ultra mix of 'The Garden' on the new mlo album is wonderful. The T-Power Remix on the new Mike Ink EP is what the Autrechre mix should have been, but wasn't, great. What about 'the self evident truth of an intuitive mind'? Wicked stuff on that LP, especially Amber (or Silver, cant remember which one). That track IS HANDS DOWN the baddest ass shit i've ever heard! Makes Ed Rush, Squarepusher and Vibert look like wimps (well, maybe not?!?) I've grabbed every T-Power release I can get my hands on, and been disappointed not once! But like they say, diffferent strokes for different Volkswagens? (WHAT?) hasta, brock NP: Orbital - Insides

Watch it. The Autechre remix may not be the darkest, murkest piece they've ever produced, but the layers and layers of rhythm slowly slathered on...building to a tremendous climax... I love that track. Sheesh. Mind you, the T Power remix is damn good too. :) Lame Thread Prevention in Effect: Aaron Michelson --------------------------------------------------------------------- aw-teck'r (autechre) "Everything you Know is Wrong." Speaking of baddest ass shit I've ever heard, I caught the tail end of the Net's own Dieselboy's set up in S.F. this past weekend and the boy was throwing down some *fierce* tracks. Dark sawtooth-drenched German trance-like backing tracks with mental d'n'b percussion instead of 4/4 or train-tracks. I'm really not much up for Jungle usually, but this stuff was tuff as nails. (As opposed to the stuff DJ Rap and DJ SS were tag-teaming afterwards; she may be serious eye candy, but I liked Damian's records quite a bit more. Not to mention the fact that he doesn't use an - ugh - annoying MC (-: ) mikebee, can I get a witness? - Greg

awwwww yeahh....in my damn fine personal opinion, damian left all in his wake this weekend, easily...with the 007 selection (to be kept secret) that kept the headz a-scratchin'...the track in question easily brought the house down to all those in the know..and we are still recovering. gotta somewhat disagree with warren G though....not too shabby...rap and ss were also in the place. dubplates were dropped, but none had the sheer techstep force of dB's set. lurvely. btw -- i used to be dieselboy's (annoying) MC ;) mikebee ps -- breaks list folx...i've been trying to sub and haven't been able to. can someone give me the straight dope?

mmm... can't understand why T-power is rated among the above, for me his music does nothing (well, maybe the old tracks on SOUR compilations does a bit) resembling the rush I got when the headphones at the shop played my virgin ears squarepusher's remix for DJ FOOD. Hell, even the vibert remix on the AFX vs. MFP is much much better imho. I realy would like to be enlightened, your help appreciated. Regards, onnow: Funkadelic (finaly the coin dropped and I can groove). Snow.
