I don't know anything about this particular release, but I do have a Minimal Man remix of Eon's A Kind of Living which absolutely rawks...very complex with subtle and not so subtle changes throughout...yayayaya, I'm not much a rekkid reviewer, but I do know that every other release of MM's I've heard I've really liked...q "The only way of discovering the limits of the possible is to venture a little way past them into the impossible." Minimal Man is Peter Ford and whatsisface... Ian Loveday? In other words, Eon and Baby Ford doing non-ravey techno. All of the MM I've heard is sort of bombastic minimalism -- kinda the P. Ford missing link between his Baby Ford stuff and his ifach stuff. Which certainly isn't a bad missing link. JM

"Coyote Flux" (on Trelik) was, IMO, one of the best techno tracks released last year. It's an amazing array of sounds, isolated, mashed together, phased, phlanged, and popping around in the mix. The whole track is about timbre. -d.w.
