Hi y'all, Have only seen one (quick) review of this on here and thought that it should be brought to more attention. Hopefully this isn't repeating info that's already widely known. :-) It's a 2CD collection of otherwise unreleased stuff by lotsa people that have guest-DJed at the Rumpus Rooms club. It's mainly junglish stuff, so if ya don't like that, you're not gonna like most of this set. It's got T Power vs. MK Ultra (with a rapper named Skan Won) doing a pretty interesting track, Dr. Rockit doing his usual thing, someone called Signal 2 Noise/Prankster #1, Jake Slazenger doing a kinda cheesy/over-the-top jungle type thing, Scanner doing an acidish track (and Rimbaud teams up with someone called Morley for another track), DJ Food doing a jungle track, Best Boy Electric and The Fumbling Gaffer (Matt Herbert and someone named Udell) doing a kinda swinging type track, and MLO capping it off with a massively overloaded, sounds-like-the-cd-player-exploding track. There's some unknown (to me) artists on here and some that I know, but are using pseudonyms (Repeat = Broom, Hill, Submerged = Clarke (Dave, I guess)). All in all, pretty cool - some jungle, some acid, and some just electronic. cya brian (who listened to Spatula Freak for the first time recently and didn't like it nearly as much as Tango)
