Yes, Autechre is coming to Lawrence, KS...Believe it or not, DJ Ray has pulled
off quite a coup to get these guys out here. Only eight US dates, from what
I've heard.
Anyway...Autechre will be doing a DJ set (as they were unable to arrange the
proper equipment for a real live show) on Wednesday March 20th. This will be
at Club 729 in downtown Lawrence. Time ? Only $8.
The opening act....oh damn, I've forgotten his name. I do believe it's the
same DJ that will be touring with them. No Jonah Sharpe, though.
Umm...anything else? I can't recall at the moment, but if you live nearby
(and are planning to go to the show) and have questions, send me mail. I
might know something I've momentarily forgotten or, at least, point you in teh
right direction.
