if you are looking for some of his harder, dance floor material, pick up some of the purpose maker 12's, or the cd comp. which covers material from the first 5. if thats not hard enough, check out waveform transmissions, or his dj set, live at the liquid room. his newest label, tomorrow, has one release, that didnt seem to break to much from past axis releases, not bad though. the other day is also a good overview of his axis material, which tends to be less beat driven, more moody. havent heard from the 21st..., but am looking.
speaking of jeff mills, he and richie hawtin will be speaking at university of chicago in may (5/19 i believe) about technology, music, etc.
cl (who works across the st. from axis records. weird.)
