For the true trainspotters of the bunch, Jonah has used Emit Ecaps as a pseudonym for more danceable tracks that he's licensed to compilations on Superstition and Source. Emit Ecaps is a more danceable album, hence the title... Peter Wohelski Astralwerks

when house label t:me decided to break into more electronic listening music (at the time colloquialized but not limited to the term "ambient") they simply spelled the label's moniker backwards, hence, em:t, cd only releases such as the widely acclaimed woob, international peoples gang, gas, miasma, qubism, etc. all of em:t's efforts are worth looking into. strange that jonah would spell his project's name backwards, to convey a new direction in music. stranger yet that the word "time" comes up again. is it just all the good names have been used? ______________________________________________________________________________ Cameron psu00110@odin.cc.pdx.edu Blacksmith on the anvil in your ear Electronica for the Jaded and Discerning ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ On Tue, 27 Feb 1996 AWerks2@aol.com wrote:

All worth a place on my shelf for sure. Anyone seen 5595, 0096 or 1196 yet? Advert in The Wire gives details of all 3: em:t 5595 (comp) Lucid Dreams 0096 Carl Stone 1196 5595 especially should surely be out by now? but I haven't seen it anywhere. PS that issue of The Wire is well worth getting. - A-Z of Electro (though the format is a cop-out from writing a proper article) "our very own" Mixmaster Morris on the invisible Jukebox. Lead reviews for some IDM CDs inc B12 and Being stuff on Tek 9 and more I forgot. later, J ^ __________ ________.__/_____ _||_/ James Skilton aka Steady J _[]/_____________[.__\____-_ DJ and Party Animal | | Part Time Hedonist |____________________________| Full Time Technohead |__|-' '-|__| Steady-J@Firefox.co.uk
