Flux Trax is the first one that comes to mind : even though I'm always a bit wary of compilations that say "18 classic techno tracks" or something like that, this one actually delivers : Rhythim=Rhythim - 'It is what it is' and 'Strings of life', Ron Trent - 'Altered states', Phuture - 'Acid Trax', Fingers Inc. - 'Can you feel it' Joey Beltram - 'Energy flash' Underworld - 'Rez' Hardfloor - 'Acperience' A Guy Called Gerald - 'Voodoo Ray' Dark Comedy - 'War of the worlds' Empirion - 'Narcosis' Aphex Twin - 'Didgeridoo' Jam&Spoon - 'Stella' Stakker - 'Humanoid' FUSE vs. LFO - 'Loop' FUSE - 'F.U.' Horsepower - 'Ravesignal' and another equally good track that I can't remember off the top of my head :), although I think it was Royal House - 'Can you party?' Otto PS TA-1 was pretty weak IMO as well (except for a few tracks), although the booklet alone would almost justify its purchase as usual with the Volume series.

Yeah. The Language compilation CD "Miscellaneous". Freezone 2 double CD comp. is pretty good, too. Oh... Groovy Christmas and Supersonic New Year to everybody! from Aural Expansion
