I can tell you a bit, but not much. I've got three tracks by the
scientist,
but nothing since around 1991. The tracks, 'spiral symphony' (the one
you
mentioned), 'the bee' and 'the exorcist' are all originally on kickin
records, but I've got them on compilations. These are, respectively,
'breaks, bass and bleeps 2', 'Champion Sound - the best of kickin
records
vol.1' and 'breaks, bass and bleeps 1' - all pretty old, but still
excellent comps. I'm not sure who 'the scientist' actually is, but
names
associated with the tracks are P.Sebastian, K.Ford, DJ Hype and Ralph
P.Ruppert.
Anyone else remember the 'breaks, bass and bleeps' series of comps?
(Dunno
if they ever got to America.) They were pretty essential at the time,
but
only got to vol.4. Whatever happened to Hardcore Uproar?
