Has anyone heard the Orbital mix of the new Madonna single? Being a big Orbital fan, I just have to swallow my pride and buy it... Talking of remixes, what do you all think of the Westbam's hands on Yello version of Bostich? I just love it! I can do without the german 'ardcore mix ("rush push mix") though, but the "machine mix" was just what Bostich deserve. Is there any smashing 12" remixes too? Last night on MTV there was an short interview with Orbital and they told that Madonna "Bedtime Stories" remixes should be out about 12th of February. There was also some talk about the Internet remixing contest, that the winning track might be released as a single. A friend of mine in a local 'indie rock' band met up with orbital on their last tour and out of curiousity they asked about the band (orbital) doing a remix for them. Seems it's just a matter of money. It was very expensive-almost as much as what it costs them to produce an album! My inkling is that they do it cheaper for people they know and like and will do it for others for outrageous amounts of money. karl

You know what? I've seen two domestic versions of Take a Bow, along with another import version and there is NO ORBITAL REMIX TO BE FOUND. I don't know if someone was pulling out collective legs, but I'm quite pissed. On a related note, I found and picked up the Orbital remix of EMF's It's You. It is EXCELLENT. i talked to paul and phil when they were in toronto a few months ago and they told me they had indeed just completed madonna remixes. not for take a bow tho, they are for the third single "bedtime story" at the point i met them they didn't even know if the mixes would be used. they said that it was up to her and the record label. peace, orbital orbital@io.org
