I've received quite a nice response since joining the net less than a week
ago. Many people wanting to just say "hello" and "welcome", many wondering
what the heck Matrix is.
For the record: Matrix is a relatively young Detroit label (not a record
store, not a distributor) specializing in "experimental, spacey, trancey,
ambienty, funky intellegent techno". Contributors have included Claude Young,
Kenny Larkin, Dan Bell, Morgan Geist, Gerard Hanson, Sounds Intangible
Nature, and Alan Oldham. So far we've released 7 e.p.'s, one double album,
and one limited edition t-shirt. We are a Submerge affiliated label dedicated
to experimentation.
