the original 12" (here on my lap) looks like so: Harmonize (it's a green "fax" label with a grey dot and the number 3) lc6269 (all tracks written by Pete Namlook & AI.A. Perry) this side nite float 6:34 other side after hour harmony 6.52 mediterranean moods 6.24 truly a track with mucho IDM flavor. jazzy bass riffs and sonic double dipped break loop (read: flanged drumbeats) with jazz vibe hits. not much diversity between mixes (more jazz vs more beats vs more space) but certainly a classic. did i mention the wheelups? that WOULD be the first time you've heard of it. SAW was keeping me sane as i watched the network news coverage of the carnage inflicted upon a women's clinic by an "anti-choice" protester. (they have forfeited the right to be called "pro-life". i was particuarly disturbed considering my good friend kristen supervises the front desk in Brookline. she is shaken, but well. others were not so lucky. a moment of silence aside, there are few sounds as life affirming as your favorite piece of music.
