In regard to the current thread on video mixing . . .
source material is of the utmost importance, sure the techniques
are played out, but with some seriously creative source material
who even cares if they're just simply switching???
as well, set up is key. staring at some 19 inch monitors stacked
up will make you feel like your in a rerun of club MTV. suck city.
but! if your crew has the fire power to make the walls move,
they you'll feel like your in side that 19 inch monitor...looking out
the same rules apply to audio mixing...techniques haven't changed
too much in the past upteen years...but i dont hear anyone complaining
about a wheelup being played out. if your source material is primero
you'll be having a bang up time....
i'll make sure of that
