actually they have two out now.. the newest came out a few weeks ago and
is by the frankfurt-tokyo connection.. frankfurt-tokyo connection is
actually very harthouse sounding music from a japanese artist (susumu
yokota).. not as good as spicelab but not chopped liver..

anyone considering buying one of these i would highly suggest shelling
out the money for the still-import chapter 2 over the domestic chapter
1.. much of chapter 1 is as old as 1992 and sounds that way.. chapter
2 is still actually quite old (much of the tracks are early to mid 93)
but it is quite a bit better than 1.. still not incredible though, like
much of the most recent 12"s (essence of nature, resistance d, b-zet to
name a few)..

offhand i don't believe there's a ton of spicelab material but oliver
lieb, who=spicelab, has done gobs of work under different names lately..
his lsg 12" on superstition is popular right now and he teamed up with
dr. atmo from fax to put out a great 12" under the name of java on
eye-q.. i believe he is also behind the paragliders 12" on
superstition.. also notable is his full length ambient release on
recycle or die that samu posted information about a few weeks back..
