Though I haven't listened to Die Warzau in about 10 years, I remember seeing
them open for NIN in January 1991 in a tiny club in St. Louis on the "Now
I'm Nothing" tour. Die Warzau played an awesome set with Chris Vreann
playing live digital drums - I was pretty amazed at the time. Then Reznor
(with Richard Patrick on guitar) played a set with all 10 songs in his
repetoire at the time.
Ah, to be 15 again... it's too bad Die Warzau, who seemed to have a lot of
talent, never left the Wax Trax industrial rock rut. I can't believe people
still follow that sort of thing.
