heh. nice. yeah, i'm not actually a peaches fan, but i love the
scene in "lost in translation" when her song is blasting in the strip
club. it's so horrendously OTT and tasteless, it's perfect. plus,
she actually made it to a second album which wasn't ignored. so
perhaps she's not the best, but i was mainly pointing out the
(relative) longevity as opposed to many others in that scene.
although i did have a blast one night at berliniamsburg...hungry
wives were very entertaining. sadly, they seem to have gone
nowhere. i guess that's what they get for smartly proclaiming in
their song, "the scene is over".
