Well I have at least five albums - Hard Normal, Feed Me, Do you know, Go Plastic, Selection. I am well aware of where he comes from, musically, as I know the work of Wheather Report and Jaco, and I indeed (being a rock-jazz player myself) understand very well aware of his roots.

No - I knew what to expect actually enjoyed it tremendously, the fast and furious stuff, when I got Feed Me, but when it gets to noisy and stressful does the same as Free Jazz for me - to be taken in in little doses. :-) ... ..oh yeah: and best enjoyed live!

Sounds great even though I don't know any of the acts. My two most interesting IDM events were R. Devine and Luke Vibert (DJing) on the Warp tour, and Funkstoerung on their regular club night here at Pathos in Munich.
