Imagine you're walking through an empty field out in
the countryside. It's a sunny day and the long grass
waves gently around your legs.
As you walk through this field you see what look like
a group of old broken electronic instruments off in
the distance and through the haze of the summer day.
Intrigued, you head over for a better look and as you
get closer these battered, broken machine slowly start
to light up.
There's a soft buzzing as the machines gear themselves
up, then slowly, one by one, they start to play. Soft,
gentle melodies float from their cracked and weathered
bodies as they all join in and sing together.
You're looking down at these machines not quite
believing what you're hearing, but the machines
themselves seem to be quite enjoying playing for you,
despite their damage and age. Enticed, you sit down
with them, crossed legged and slowly start to sway
along with the tall grass that surrounds you.
Electronic hums, warm fuzzy synths, cracks and pops,
all mixed together to form beautiful melodies...like
the machines are talking to you and only you.
Then, they start to fade out. Each machine slowly
winding down and switching itself off, the red glow
from the LED's slowly dying out until all is quiet
again.
