i was just going to say something along these lines. ie... there really
AREN'T enough live shows etc - and most of the time, i hear something like
"oh, i sure wish Boards of Canada would tour. And why didn't Mum come to my
city?" "man, i hope warp does another tour soon" and then shortly after,
it's "man, boards of canada sure are fucking boring live" and "that warp
show was piss because people did/didn't dance enough, and they just had
laptops, and laptops aren't playing live." next to my father, the IDM-List
is the all time superior king of double standards.
and for my musical content:
that new benge album on expanding is excellent. very tight, clean musics.
nicely written melodies, great atmosphere and a good amount of
variation/variety to keep it interesting. expanding release yet another
great record. well done.
