99.99999% of obnoxious and/or politically-incorrect and/or off-topic
statements are either sarchastic or from one of the many pretentious
list-members we are so proud to converse with every day. and, the most
exciting thing about the IDM list is when someone says something completely
satirical, and some moron responds with a huge rambling email about how that
person is rude and tries to correct them. this happened with the "BOC is
gay" post. it's actually quite a shame you missed that one, but it evolved
into this entirely off-topic mess that was your introduction to the list.
