i dunno if you are an Orb fan, but i felt basically the same way about the
Metallic Sphere release with david gilmour, great guitar work over
incongruous samples and beats
just didn't seem really planned , more spontaneous
was fun to listen to a couple times but definitely not an enduring favorite
