i would say that the best way to distribute an
album from commercial and artistic points of view
would be to sell it at the same time in all
formats-
vynil or cd in two versions (simple and also more
expensive collectible edition)
mp3 in a good bitrate from website for smth like
$1-2 so it will be easier to buy it that to look
for it everywhere and spend time to download a
low bit version, than maybe some tracks are not
their, etc
i am sure that there must be a price that
everyone agrees to pay for album in mp3 then to
spent time to find a pirate copy
my guess would be $1-$3 but not more than $4
