honestly i don't think ANYONE has a balanced perspective on this issue. not only is it too complex on the face of it, we've all been fed propaganda and lies, so it's nearly impossible to figure out what's really happening with anything approaching balance. Bryn clearly aligned himself with one side in what is undoubtably a war (though no one's admitting it), which is, in a sense, more admirable than claiming to be impartial (i.e. US media) and actually having a pro-Israeli, anti-Palestinian bias. like it or not, we're now IN IT, all of us. so we've got to start trying to understand these complex situations, rather than "letting the towel-headed desert rats" kill each other, as so many racist, ignorant people have so far applauded. i've been listening to my Muslimgauze quite a lot, although i don't think his views have a lot to do with the attack, really, if the perp was bin Laden's group, he appears to be more upset at the encroachment of US culture. c. . .. . .. . --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
