When you're a relatively independent label with multiple international licenses trying to release a record that's probably going to sell a fair amount, i would assume you'd spend more time making sure you get everything right. Since you can't just throw away a couple thousand records if they're pressed wrong, I could understand the delays. Warp are just one of the few labels that actually says what the reasons are before the record comes out, probably due to the fan's demand.
