I'm sure that the new Aphex Twin will be interesting, and maybe even
good, but there are loads of people that y'all should be jumping and
screaming about:
Pretty much everything on Planet Mu
Yee King
Colongib, and the whole Kracfive Clique
Tigerbeat6 stuff, especially the newer artists
Merck -- they just plain don't make bad records or CDs
Atmosphere -- damn that's good hip hop.
BipHop -- yeah
Marumari -- Supermogadon is the scheiss, nicht ficken wahr?
and so on, and so on...
An Aphex Twin album is something to look forward to, but
there's so much else going on. He's got his bank vault,
he's got his tank. Unless he can somehow one up any and all
of the guys above, why waste time worrying about him?
In terms of anticipation, I'm a LOT more interested in
Rich Devine's next CD this fall. People who understimate
him do so at their peril.
