OK, maybe I should have used the word "acoustics" instead of "sound system." My bad. There's no need to make the Bowery Ballroom sound reasonable- it's probably my least favorite place in New York to see a gig, even worse than the Cooler (who, [un]fortunately, books a lot of interesting acts). Next time.... Twilo? Has anybody been downstairs @ Centro-Fly? Respond off-list if need be. Sigur Ros- lugubrious two hour set (including one lighter-rousting ballad and a couple songs towards the end which were downright mid-tempo), guitar sound lifted wholesale from Slowdive, makes me want to dye my hair black again and put eggwhites in it. Hmmm, I guess my hair's already black, fuck. in the same deep water as you, -rob --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
