"MTV Extreme" is actually an enjoyable compilation featuring music
MTV almost never plays... except possibly on the DJs-go-snowboarding
show "Snowball" to which this compilation is a sort of companion. it
has unexclusive tracks by: nightmares on wax, zero 7, red snapper,
zombie nation, azzido da bass, humanoid, detroit grand pu bahs, luke
slater, etc, etc. rather attractive cover illustrations, too.
mtv europe really exels in sneaking idm tracks into their jingles.
"windowlicker" in particular. i think there are some frustrated
idm-ers working at the mtve offices.
