Yeah, I wouldn't hesitate in calling this album groundbreaking. One of my
favorite electronic albums of all time. It's got some of the most advanced (and
musical), non-abstract DSP I've heard in "pop" music. I think people who
enjoyed Aphex's "Window Licker" EP (especially the first 2 tracks) might really
get into Super_Collider.

Drill'n'bass ? There's one track with a processed Amen, but the tracks are all
pretty mid-tempo. And as far as ae moments, some of the sounds may have a
similar quality, but SC's overall melodic/harmonic sensibility is very
different. No drifting melancholia and machine like rhythms here.
