The brown album is UTTERLY essential. In Sides is nice in places but ultimately much more bland in its content. It sounds just like they made in on a load of techno by numbers gear. No interesting or out of the ordinary noises/ideas on there at all. I think the brown LP really pushed the limits of techno - you'll never hear anything with as much groove, melody or depth of sound that it has. Gb.
