others work" again ..who rehashes? laswell? namlook?
as to dsotm 5: remember that this is a Collaboration (with a capital C)
...it is not an individual work...it is also a progression that began
with dsotm 1...try playing them all back-to-back for a taste of what that
means...granted, each one of the dsotm discs gives more latitude to one
of the collaborators...thats why, imo, the first two are more
"schulzian", the next one more "namlookian" and the final two, more
"laswellian"...i dont think laswell's bass is a "re-hash", and certainly
not a "re-hash of others work"...he has a distinctive style, which melds
quit well in this type of music...u may not like it, but its no
coincidence that his style is in such demand...
