I disagree. A breakbeat is the same as a break, in a drum sequence. A drumloop can be a break, but a break is not the same thing as a drumloop. I can have a trancy drumloop and it wouldn't by any means be a breakbeat.

hm.. perhaps, but it's called breakbeat because it's a break, it's that simple. and then breakbeat = music where the drums are made up of breaks, jungle/drum'n'bass = breakbeat at 180bpm and the breaks are more chopped up (usually)
