New & noteworthy is Noise Unit's "Drill." This is the 5th release from FLA's Bill & Rhys under the Noise Unit name. It's definately better than NU's last effort, "Decoder." The CD has more of a surreal feel to it like their 1st release, "Grinding Into Emptiness." But, the years of technological growth and the growth of Bill & Rhys as sonic architects shows on this new release. It's the best thing that these two have done in a long time. They do use guitar samples on this one but they aren't annoyingly overbearing like FLA's "Millienium." As of now, it's only available as an import. But, I would highly recommend it to anyone who likes Bill & Rhys' stuff. Dennis O'Hare noise@webtv.net
