A friend of mine rang me up yesterday looking for suggestions of IDM-ish
videos to put on a programme on a certain cable-based television
channel. I ran through some of my favourite artists and labels but I
have no idea who out of these have actually made videos. She was really
in a rush so I didn't have time to help her properly.
Can anyone enlighten me and help improve the IDM-ratio on broadcast TV?

P.S. Possibly this isn't the place to ask, but I am looking for a new
turntable. This is an opportunity to get some pitchable decks - should I
take the plunge rather than settling for the average Hi-Fi separates
affair? I should point out that I can't afford to get a pair of Technics
so it would have to be cheap imitations, and this is for my own
"enjoyment" rather than professional use.
When I have made a purchase I'll be able to comment on some of my recent
purchases (i.e. there's lots of stuff I haven't been able to play yet).
