A quote from the RePHLeX multimedia discography:

Unless I'm very much deceived, the 909 is very much alive and well on
the recent Synectics release. Nothing wrong with that, I say, but it
does seem to contradict rather the above statement.
NB: this is just an observation, not particularly a criticism
