Sung, Until recently, Waterloo records (on 6th and Lamar) and Sound Exchange (on 21st? and Guadalupe) had decent selections of idm and ambient on vinyl and cd in stock, but Herb, Waterloo's vinyl selector, left take open his own shop, Alien records. It is a great little shop and Herb carries all the latest dance (including house, trance, idm, ambient, and a little jungle) releases. It's located on the corner on 15th and San Antonio. Since Herb's departure from Waterloo, both Waterloo and Sound Exchange's stock of any electronic music has decreased sharply. However, you might be able to scrape up something you're missing from your collection in the backstock (Waterloo's been selling the remaining vinyl at about $4 apiece, including imports). I recommend Alien to anyone in the Austin area. I myself live in San Antonio and drive up (about an hour) to go to Alien. I'm not a cowboy. Rollin',rollin',rollin' Christian B
