Watching the Tube last night I was reminded of an earlier post
to this list, by someone who asked if anyone else liked Blancmange's
Living on the ceiling, I guess that footage on the Tube a few weeks
ago of this very track may have prompted this query.
Well it certainly sent me on a little nostalgia trip, I used to
love that single, and despite being completely inept at playing
any musical instrument I even managed to work out the main Asianesque
riff and hammer it out on my Casio VL-tone (now *there's* a keyboard!).
More memories last night though with footage of Chakk from the 80's
does anyone on the list remember them? They were from Sheffield I think,
and released an LP called '13 days in an elevator' which I owned once and
loved, anyone know what happened to them?
