Just got a few CDs which I think are worth mentioning. First one
is the ~45 minute remix cd of a couple of Golden Palaminos tracks.
I am not familiar with the band but the remixes are from Bill Laswell,
Terre T., and Bandulu. All the remixes are very good, Laswell's bassy
input, Terre's mix of ambient and percussive sounds, and the great
sound of Bandulu. Very good. Next one is 4Hero's "Ambient Jungle" release,
title of which I forget now. I finally got a hold of this after looking
for it everywhere. This music is very different, as in it's like house music
with cool jungle beats with wonderfull synth (sort of ambient in nature) sounds
all over the place. It really reminded me of IDM as a music genre!!
Finally, got the new Seefeel cd and I must say it's my favorite of their's and
mine for the past few months. Purely excellent.
