You're right that the CD wasn't available until this year - I disagree,
though, with your reasoning that the reissue makes it a '94 release. I
guess Mr Burrell will have to make a ruling on this one. :)

What's the point of calling it a best of '94 poll then? Either releases
from this year are the only ones that should count (or things released
some arbitrary date late last year, which would only make things more
confusing), or we might as well call it an alltime best of idm poll.
We've done that before. But again, I defer to the pollster's judgement.
(If he announces that the year of release is irrelevant, though, I'll
feel real funny voting for Keith LeBlanc's 'Major Malfunction' from
1986).
BTW: in my original post, I didn't mean to imply that 'Incunabula' isn't
worthy of consideration, I assumed from all the reviews of 'Amber' I've
read here saying it's much better than the debut that Autechre fans
would more likely choose the new one. My apologies for any offense.
