Hello f(r)iends,
<<Numbers -- Numbers Life [Tigerbeat6]
not electronic at all, but it is tb6. Another amazingly good purchase,
lo-fi scratchy disco punk, crazy attitude, big hooks, disjointed rythms
and bass. meant to be played loud and danced to.>>
I still say that everything this band does, Erase Errata do MUCH better...
<<Deerhoof -- more scratchy, crazy insane guitar stuff, which seems to just
drip in genius also. The lady's vocals are amazing.>>
Deerhoof have become one of my favorite bands over the past couple of
months, and though they don't play out often, the one time I've seen them
live was an amazing experience. I recommend their latest album, "Reveille,"
and their debut, "The Man, The King, The Girl," as initial purchases, but
their entire catalog is worth owning...
<<The Books - these are mad. i have no idea why i downloaded them or where i
had heard about them, but so glad i found them, i'm sure i see them
mentioned somewhere. here? someones top10 of 2002 i'm sure.>>
Both Deerhoof and the Books were on my Top Ten of 2002 list. GLOAT GLOAT
GLOAT :-)
Yr. f(r)iend Sean P.
