the new movie with the mostly-unintelligible brad pitt, snatch, is a fun watch. i'd recommend it, if you don't mind a light-hearted portrayal of violence :D of note, one character's "theme music" in the movie is The Herbalizer's "Sensual Woman," which fits surprisingly well :D recommended, if you can watch a movie and giggle at the same time. cheers, /derek - - - - - Alice could not help her lips curing up into a smile as she began: "Do you know, I always thought Unicorns were fabulous monsters, too! He's funny, crazy, and he's heh, "Boinking" Jennifer Aniston(?spelling?). Finally found "Pi" on dvd today, now to watch the behind the scenes crap and lost scenes. This movie is fuck'n grand with the music all spell binding and shit. If you haven't seen this movie, I highly recommend it, that and "Belly" with DMX, Nas, and Method Man. Hype Williams is a spectacular director on this flick, the camera angles are superb, not to mention the soundtrack. :peace: Sprek http://spit.to/onesick At 12:44 AM 1/28/2001 -0600, EggyToast wrote:

uhh, what? his character is a broguish irish "gypsy" who speaks in a slurry burst of syllables, making him very unintelligible... he does a very good job. cheers, /derek - - - - - Alice could not help her lips curing up into a smile as she began: "Do you know, I always thought Unicorns were fabulous monsters, too! Longer than that, if you count his tick-filled turn in Terry Gilliam's _Twelve Monkeys_. Personally, I think his one-joke-accent is seriously upstaged by the geordie who gets his head shut in the car window and taken for a ride. Then again, I didn't think his verbiage was completely unpenetrable. The movie is a total repeat of Lock, Stock but a good deal funnier. It looks exactly the same as Ritchie's first movie.. Lock, Stock, & Two Smoking Barrels.. is it that much the same? / wells // wells@submute.net " i saved latin. what did you ever do? i've never seen the first movie, but according to reviews, it's a similarly-themed movie. apparently, there's more meat to the story, more plot, better characters, etc; it just doesn't have the "surprise" factor of the first movie. but same writer/director doing stuff wif gangsters, so if you didn't like ritchie's first movie, you probably wouldn't like the second. cheers, /derek - - - - - Alice could not help her lips curing up into a smile as she began: "Do you know, I always thought Unicorns were fabulous monsters, too! Most of what William Bradley Pitt says in Snatch is to do with his Mother's Caravan (caravan=trailer), dogs (greyhounds) & buying throw cushions and other 'gypsy' related talk, Maybe someone smart will make a tasty DSP filter/vocoder to enable us all to sing in such a delicious manner -i --- sprek@soundmangle.com wrote:
