While you're correct in saying that they admit this if you look carefully, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a catalog to have some sort of relationship with the real world. Am I allowed to dis them for charging 25-30% more than anyone else charges? How about for sitting on your money for six weeks before even telling you whether they can *get* what you ordered, let alone shipping it? What about for having multiple indistinguishable entries for identical items, varying in cost from entry to entry?

And if they find out that an item is unavailable, they *still* leave it in the catalog, waiting for the next sucker to try and order it. -- Lazlo (lazlo@rt66.com) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ "Techno techno bloody *techno*, darling!"

Hi all, I was given the address of CDEUROPE the other day (cdeurope.com) and was wandering if anyone else uses it. Everytime I log on, I get a group of beeps at the prompt... I was wondering whether my terminal type is set correctly. Currently it is set to 'xterm', but should it be something different... anyone out there can offer me some help. Mike

Don't bother. CDEurope is waaaay overpriced. Best bet would be to go the mail order route with Ear/Rational. I've also heard of a service called Soleilmoon but don't have any details. -bob
