Hello, I am looking for contact information for the techno artists "Blue Pearl". The liner notes for the Orb's "Adventures..." implies that they are on the "wau! mr modo" label -- does anyone have an address/fax for that? (I want to contact them to find out why they chose the name "Blue Pearl".) Please e-mail me if you have any information relative to this. The singles I have are on W!MM, but distributed via Big Life. Given the Orb's frustrations with Big Life, I dunno the current status of Blue Pearl. I have not seen them release anything lately. Blue Pearl is Youth (famed producer) and a woman with the last name of McBroom. Supposedly she sang back up for Pink Floyd several years ago on one of their tours. Weird and Unconventional is not the same label as Wau! Mr Modo. The Wau! in Wau! Mr Modo stands for "What about us!" (though I think Wau! Mr Modo is now called Intermodo, unless that's yet another related label....) Cosmic

What About Us! was what it said in press releases and also what Alex said in interviews. I think Weird And Unconventional (no "Mr.Modo") was the label they started when the trouble with Big Life began. - chris@minsk.docs.uu.se
