The last word I'd heard is that it's due out February 25th, and that it's 60 minutes long. I had a track listing somewhere, but I can't remember where I saw it. Notably, Gravitational Arch of 10 appears to be an edit, so if you want a longer version pick up either the _excellent_ Magnetic Gravity Arc Suite_ CD5 or +8's _Blueprints For Modern Technology Vol. 2_. | Dave Walker, Detroit Art Services (DAS) | | "I don't read, I just guess" | | marmoset@msen.com -Happy Mondays, "Wrote For Luck" |

The other two are much more readily available. It's been _quite_ awhile since I saw the 12" anywhere (and I'm in Detroit) -- I'm not sure it's still in print. | Dave Walker, Detroit Art Services (DAS) | | "I don't read, I just guess" | | marmoset@msen.com -Happy Mondays, "Wrote For Luck" |

I have had the priveledge of getting an advance copy of the vapourspace disc...or is it a priveledge? It is a continuous play disc...it has around 12 tracks, but they are all connected as one long track...though the mixes are not all smooth transitions...it is a good album in general, with some things I would have done differently.....they are definitely atypical when it comes to the style...but they do overstate things a bit when they say on the cover of the disc..."the sounds you will hear as you enter the gates of heaven" (I would rather hear the Aubrey mixes...or Halcyon and on and on...Or Amporphous Androgenous) The disc begins with a Vangelis-like synth build...leading into an eerie siren sound that chaotically builds into the first beats...about three minutes into the disc...after which the disc becomes a bit more predictable...but good...good enough to warrant a purchase, for that matter. I would buy it but I would be aware of the possibility for the disc to be one in your collection that will need to "age"...it might have to grow on you a bit....but maybe not...but for me...it took a couple of days to really like it. I give it a B+... this concludes the almighty review by me...(all opinions are mine..be yer own judge...i am no expert...i might be a putz...) peace, jasonosaj...

That actually sounds like the Magnetic Gravity Arc Suite CD5 to me... the CD single that came out about a month or so ago. What's the Magnetic Gravity Arc....? (and is it available on vinyl...?) Also, Gravitational Arch of 10 recently had a (UK release, I think) on Internal, so it should be fairly easy to find over here..... Cosmic

The "Magnetic Gravity Arc Suite" consists of 6 or 7 mixes of GAof10 by John Acquaviva (+8 co-honcho), Fred Gianelli (Telepathic Records, Psychic TV's acid influence), and Mark Gage, edited together into a 35-minute mass of heady goodness by Gage. I haven't seen it on vinyl. | Dave Walker, Detroit Art Services (DAS) | | "I don't read, I just guess" | | marmoset@msen.com -Happy Mondays, "Wrote For Luck" |

It's on FFRR in the US. An article I read in a US mag stated that he'd signed with Polygram in the UK. Things get really confusing with all the cross-licensing that's going on. | Dave Walker, Detroit Art Services (DAS) | | "I don't read, I just guess" | | marmoset@msen.com -Happy Mondays, "Wrote For Luck" |

I saw the LP CD at a club here in Houston (#'s), and asked DJ Wes Wallace to sell it, but he said no. I continually ask him to play it but that he needs to find the good parts (Grav.Arch of 10) since I think a lot of it is mostly ambient...but he doesn't! :( He says he got is as a promo... On the +8 single 12", it too I believe is an edit (or a variation version) as the SPIN article on the "See the Light" tour says that "Gravitation Arch of 10" is 31 minutes long. -djkc Cocteau Twins here in Houston on 24th (or around there)!!! Ad in Public News says "with special guests." Anyone know if this is possibly SeeFeel? Are they touring with in the US?
