j4-again we run the spectrum here. . .1 track like breaks jammed through
a sonic cuisinart, fading in and out, dropped in the popcorn trough. . .
1 track of quick 808ishness that will put you into a trance without
pounding you into submission (read not one ounce of thump here)
1 track of classic afx hardcore, like quoth turned down one notch
1 track thats like taking a walk in Toon Town with a bass bin strapped
to your back (first time i put this through a PA i shit my pants)
1 short track (>2mins) of thunderous squelched traps. . .and a cute
little (>1min) goofy number that *sounds like a kids show theme song*
j5-damn this record is priceless. . .(especially my milky white copy)
1 track of acidic highrolling hardness, great beat here slaps me silly
and really tears the floor up. . .1 track of classic afx hardcore that
mixes brilliantly with the j4 hardcore track. . .1 track of hyper housey
samples and R2D2 (yes the droid) electro. . .1 track (uh oh here we go)
this track, this track, oh man this track is perfect, after an otherworldly
ambient intro (think heavenly) the whip comes down and the bass rolls out
tears tears tears gushing here
now onto the j9ii (not the picture disc)
j9-if you like the harder parts of the j4,5 then you'll be rubbing your
tummy digesting this slice of ph phat acid. . .grab your Mylanta
2 tracks of thunderous blitzcreig acid. . .chock full of humongus
breakdowns. . .mental transforming (dj style). . .and orgasmic samples
"ohhh, ohhh, so good. . ohhhhh ohhhh"sampled voice of female
wierd free-jazz-style acid blurbs. . .and cries for help from the weak
1 track that intro's with the "we are the music makers" sample but
the bottom drops heavy here and your left wishing you were back on
selected ambient works. . .more hard transforming but with some good
danceable beats. . .and yup more breakdowns. . .mr breakdown he is
the last track here is one i reviewed once before on idm. . .depth
charged dub beats. . .heavily delayed bombs. . .a skippy bass line
and bass that would send DJ Magic Mike home crying to his mommy
this track is very similar to the Analouge Bubblebath 3 dub track
(the one you have to remove the right channel from your board to hear)
i think the track name starts with .01?????. . .heavy duty stuff here
