THis is the finest compilation of techno I may have ever bought. Need I say
more? No really, I can't describe techno as well as others on this list,
but it leans mostly on the hardcore and acid sides, with the exception of the
exceptional vapourspace-esque ambient rises and falls with and without beats.
In short, sell you dog if you have to, but get this one.
At the reccomendation of Dave Walker and Kohlstrand,
I also got a hold of that Plastikman cd, and have all positives to say as well.
Possibly the best single-act effort since Orbital #2 "the brown album."
covers the whole range, very fast and acidic at times. Richie Hawtin at his
best. Layers and layers of programming, elegant structures of beats and
effects.
plus 8 records, kicking ass as usual
