I just received a message from a member of Ambientnoise, Whitezone, and IDM@hyperreal, who shall remain nameless stating the following: "Please quit repeatedly posting your wantlists to ambient, idm & whitezone. one time is excusable, every few days is not. if people dont respond to your post the first time it is unlikely that they will respond if you ask them over and over again." This was my reply to him: "People have been responding constantly, and that is why my lists are changing constantly. I have been doing nothing but trading records for the past few weeks with enthusiastic traders on precisely the lists you have just mentioned. Thank You, Christophe" Maybe I am posting a lot, but I honestly am trading a lot, and I don't want to leave outdated incorrect trade lists up for people to waist their time responding to. I hope this is understandable, I find it quite reasonable. If there are any more objections please feel free to let me know. If you're posting sale lists, please put (FS) or (FA) or (For Sale) or something similar so that those of us who have no interest in these things can delete without having to read them. A subject like "hi everybody" is meaningless. -d.w. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Perhaps in situations where it is necessary to post a lot it may be wiser to indicate where the changes are - new records you are trading or looking for or records you no longer have.
